This version corrects a number of faults and describes some odd behaviour when used with Windows 11
For some unknown reason Windows 11 reduces the size of the ‘Actions Due’ panel so the text is cropped. It also crops the bottom of the performance panel. These panels are now resizeable and can be enlarged by grabbing a corner with the mouse and expanding them. Please note that the ‘Actions Due’ panel should be tall enough to allow 20 entries so as to prevent a vertical scrollbar appearing which obscures some of the text. Also the text on existing railway displays is larger when using Windows 11, again the reason isn’t known. Therefore when operating these railways some of the text might need to be reduced or repositioned.
It was noticed that the position light signals remained showing on a signal after a call-on when a session was saved then reloaded. It was due to a flag not being reset on loading a session. This has now been corrected.
It was noticed that a signaller controlled train that had been set to stop failed to stop when reloaded from a session file. It was because a flag hadn’t been saved in the session file. All train flags and variables that hadn’t already been saved in session files are now included to avoid similar problems in future.
On examining a conflict analysis file it was found that exit locations were excluded from the arrival analysis. It was because train exits don’t use arrival times which are used for the arrival analysis – they use an ‘event time’ instead. It was corrected by setting the arrival time to the event time for exits.
